    I'm surprised there aren't more reviews. This restaurant has been around for many many years. We go here almost every time we are in price Edward county. My boyfriend has been going here for years with his family. His grandparents would bring him here for ice cream.
    They have lots of flavours of ice cream. Pies are baked daily. Their food is really good! We had the butchers burger today. I had onion rings & my boyfriend got fries. We shared. $26 total.
    This is a casual diner. Their fish & chips are good too. Lots of salads, burgers and sandwiches. Some burgers are kind of different for folks that want to try something original. (Peanut butter & eggs anyone?)  We highly suggest stopping by.

    My husband's family has had a cottage in Wellington for over 100 years. So we have gotten ice cream here for years. What we encountered over Labor Day weekend was disappointing. After a fun dinner somewhere else we decided to have ice cream for dessert. We arrived at about 7:50 PM only to be behind a family of five. There were two women at the counter, the mop and bucket was out and one of the women actually said when we walked in "HAPPENS EVERY TIME EVERY TIME".
    We ordered ice cream and sat outside as we were sitting there an older couple arrive only to be locked out. It was probably 7:58 that was upsetting to see. I realize days are long but the years are short. Hopefully you realize that people love ice cream served with a smile. Maybe it was just a bad day?

    Stopped here just before closing on the weekend for some takeout to eat at their front tables, and it was exactly what we were looking for - simple, tasty food you could imagine eating in a small town or beach area. We each had a cheeseburger, and we shared a side of onion rings (the larger size that was truly plentiful for the price), as well as a butter tart. Service was great, particularly since we unknowingly ordered just prior to them closing.

    They also had may ice cream flavours that I would love to try in the future.
